Say what they did yesterday.

Van is they. Van parlar means they spoke. No van parlar means they didn't speak.

• Van parlar català.They spoke Catalan.
• Van menjar pa.They ate bread.
• Van anar a l'estació.They went to the station.
• No van fer un cafè.They didn't make a coffee.
• Elles van parlar anglès.They spoke English.
• Ells van anar a la plaça.They went to the square.
• Van menjar amb el pare.They ate with their father.
• Ahir van parlar català.Yesterday they spoke Catalan.
