I spoke

Say what you did, with vaig and a verb.

Vaig plus a verb is the past. Vaig parlar means I spoke. Vaig a casa means I go home. The next word tells you which.

• Vaig parlar català.I spoke Catalan.
• Vaig menjar pa.I ate bread.
• Vaig fer un cafè.I made a coffee.
• Vaig anar a casa.I went home.
• No vaig parlar anglès.I didn't speak English.
• Vaig menjar amb la mare.I ate with my mother.
• Vaig anar al cafè.I went to the café.
• Ahir vaig parlar català.Yesterday I spoke Catalan.
