Tall or tired

Choose sóc for what you are, and estic for how you feel.

Sóc is who you are: tall, young. Estic is how you feel: tired, happy. A woman says alta, cansada, contenta.

• Sóc alt.I am tall.
• Sóc baixa.I am short, as a woman.
• Ets simpàtic?Are you nice?
• És jove.She is young.
• Estic cansat.I'm tired.
• Estic contenta.I'm happy, as a woman.
• Estic a casa.I'm at home.
• Estàs bé?Are you well?
