Give a full reason with perquè.

Perquè still means because. A whole sentence can follow it. The accent stays on the e.

• Surto d'hora perquè tinc el tren.I leave early because I have the train.
• Em quedo a casa perquè plou.I stay home because it is raining.
• No puc quedar perquè he de treballar.I can't meet because I have to work.
• Menjo ara perquè després surto.I eat now because I leave afterwards.
• Parlo català perquè visc aquí.I speak Catalan because I live here.
• Camino perquè fa sol.I walk because it is sunny.
• Et truco ara perquè ja he sortit.I am calling you now because I have already left.
