Say although, when the fact is real.

Encara que means although. For a real fact, the verb stays in the present. Encara que plou, surto means although it is raining, I go out.

• Encara que plou, surto.Although it is raining, I go out.
• Encara que és tard, vinc.Although it is late, I come.
• Encara que tinc feina, quedem.Although I have work, let's meet.
• Encara que fa fred, camino.Although it is cold, I walk.
